I am leaving in less than 1 hour to the airport for our family trip to Texas. I am so excited!! I can’t wait to get into the warmer weather, and it will be really nice to see all of our family friends too! :) Plus, we will get to see Dallas and Austin… I haven’t done any sightseeing since the summer, so it has been quite a while. Anyway, I am not sure when I will post again in the next week, but hopefully I can work in at least one post sometime while I am in Texas. On a side note, I got another interview offer with the other local company to which I applied. Things are really starting to roll now, and I have a feeling that it will only get better!
My last 6 days in Europe, with one of the greatest friends that I have ever had (and will have). :) I have to say, it was quite an adventure, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. The first night was kind of messy- literally. There were 4-foot high floods outside the airport, so we didn’t exactly get to make it to the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows premiere, but we still got fresh copies of the book the next day. :)
The next few days, we spent going around downtown London. The fourth day, however, we visited Wimbledon grounds! And, guess what? I sat in the SAME PRESSROOM that Roger Federer sits in, when he gives interviews! Of course, I saw all of his different clothes and everything in the Museum, AND I got a tour of the grounds. It was soooooooo good! If I knew that the HP Premiere would end up like it did, I might have visited London on a Wimbledon weekend and tried to see my man play (and capture his FIFTH Wimbledon title in a great match)!!!! :D Anyway, all in all, it was a fun trip.
We are soon going to be taking a train to Paris, and from there, we’ll be going to Atlanta, and straight from there, I will be flying home. It is going to be quite a whirlwind, and it’s going to be a whole lot of no-sleep in 24 hours, but who cares? I just got myself a lifetime of memories in the last 12 weeks, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything- I can sleep when I get back, but for now, I am going to soak in the last few moments I have in Europe.
Ciao! Au revoir! Ad?os!

Although the Barcelona program has officially ended, I took a 2-day trip to Madrid, with 3 awesome friends of mine. I have to admit, though, although I love all of Spain, Barcelona is still my favorite. But, Madrid comes a very-close second! ;)
It was pretty much a 10-hour busride, and once we got there, we spent literally 24 hours in the city, and rode back to Barcelona. :) But, while we were there, we did a ton of sight-seeing. But, my favorite part was definitely the flamenco dancers that we went to see that night.

Oh my goodness- they were PHENOMENAL! I cannot believe anybody could actually tap their feet that fast WHILE moving their hips so fluidly! It was simply amazing.
And now, it’s about 3:30AM, but I have yet to pack up EVERYTHING from my Onix room- I leave at 7AM for a flight to London! After 6 days of London, I get to spend 3 weeks with my family. I cannot wait to share all of my adventures with them!!
So, we already got one ten-day break from school. But now, imagine that after 2 weeks of school, you get a SECOND ten-day break. Life is perfect, right? :) RIGHT!
This time, my friends & I took the week to travel around Italy. We went to 5 different cities: Rome, Vatican City, Florence, Pisa, and Venice. They were all great. Rome is, of course, rich in history, and it is amazing to see some of those Ruins, as well as the Colosseum still standing. Vatican City- I’m not a Catholic, but it is always interesting to hear about other religions. Florence was great for its environment. Pisa, of course, had the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and yes, it IS tilted. :) And last, but certainly not least, there is Venice. I cannot do justice to the beauty of the city of Venice. :)
For now, I sum up my adventures in the 5-picture collage (1 from each city) below, but look out for lots more pictures on Picasa!

This is just going to be a very quick update. I just got back (late last night) from a week in Italy… it was absolutely amazing! :) There are some pictures up on Facebook, but I will eventually put them all up on Photobucket. I love traveling, and I am going to have a tough time getting back into the school mode. Anyway, off to finish off some other random odds & ends now.
Note: I will probably be blogging less and less, because I decided to switch back to writing my diary in paper. This blog will be more like a travel journal or something else… I’m not quite sure what yet, but it will still be quite meaningful, hopefully.
Imagine this: You are in Barcelona for the summer taking classes, although it feels like a vacation. After 3 weeks of class, you get TEN DAYS OFF- to go wherever you want, to do whatever you want, with practically no homework! If you want to talk about Cloud Nine, that is what I call Heaven. :)
Well, I took the opportunity to go visit Munich, Germany and Paris, France. Munich was great- very much technology-saavy and reminded me a lot of the US. The only downside was the lack of vegetarian food. There was, however, a lot to do there: the BMW museum, Olympic park (1972 Olympics took place there), and the Science Museum! We took a day to also see Neuschwanstein castle – the castle that the Disney World castle is modeled after: talk about super-cool!

The other half of my break was spent in Paris. I had been to Paris before, for a few days, with my family in 2005. So, I took this opportunity to do something that I will probably not get a chance to do ever again: I WENT TO THE FRENCH OPEN! Not only that, I got tickets and saw the FRENCH OPEN WOMEN’S FINAL! LIVE!!! It was the most amazing thing ever. For those of you that know how much I love tennis and how passionate I am about it, it was truly a dream come true for me. Oh yeah, and I just missed seeing Federer, but I did see John McEnroe, who is another tennis great and one of my dad’s favorites! Talk about an amazing trip!

So now, I am back in Barcelona, but it still feels like I am in heaven, and it is a great feeling. I hope the next 6 weeks go by as slow as possible, so I can enjoy these moments.
One of the greatest architects ever- right in Barcelona! :) This past weekend, we visited La Sagrada Familia- it really is amazing how inspiring different forms of art can be.
If you are ever in Barcelona, make sure you visit this place- it is Barcelona’s #1 attraction. Not only is the architecture amazing, but it’s truly phenomenal what a man with a vision can do (Hopefully, the construction will be finished the next time I go to visit).
You thought GT campus was pretty? Check out this UPC campus (pictures do not do justice to this place- you have to go for yourself and experience it)!
It is absolutely gorgeous! I get a break in the mornings, and I love just walking through the campus, or sitting under a tree, writing in my diary. The breeze, the environment, the bustling of the people, everything is just so perfect. I am really looking forward to the rest of a summer full of classes- I think in an environment like this, time will fly, and classes will be really fun! Stay tuned for more updates soon!
It is finally here! :) It is my fourth day in Barcelona, and this place is absolutely amazing. I have concluded, from the few days in Paris (from 2005) and from the few days I have spent here, that I love Europe!! :) Europe is a *PERFECT* mix between America & India. Plus, I am here with some amazing people! :) I am updating pictures daily on my photobucket site. More to come later…
*Note: I accidentally deleted the rest of my blog… I hope this page will translate itself back to English sometime. My Spanish needs to get a bit better, before I can make out what is going on.*
